General Conference & Registration

When and where will the SIIA conference take place?
The 2024 SIIA National Conference will be held September 22-24 at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa in Phoenix, Arizona.

What are the Attendee registration fees?
Full conference registration includes admittance to on-site networking areas, hosted food and beverage functions, the ability to reserve a discounted sleeping room, entry to the Exhibit Hall, as well as access to all educational content.

*The Future Leaders registration rate applies to those who are 39 and younger as of January 1, 2024. You must upload a copy of your government-issued ID to verify that you meet eligibility requirements.

Do I need to be a SIIA member to attend this event?
No. However, SIIA members do receive a discounted registration fee. For information regarding SIIA membership, click here, or contact Jennifer Ivy at jivy@siia.org.

What is the attire for the conference?
Business casual

What is the Registration Cancelation / Refund Policy?
All registration cancelations must be received in writing at registration@siia.org. Cancelations received before June 20, 2024, will receive a refund of 50%. Cancelations received between June 21 – August 22, 2024, will receive a refund of 25%. Cancelations received after August 22, 2024, and those not in attendance are NOT eligible for a refund (due to staffing, food, and beverage obligations, no refund will be issued). Where can I locate the conference schedule?

In what time zone are the events and sessions listed?
All events and sessions will be held, and are listed on the website, at the local time in Phoenix, which is Mountain Standard Time (MST).

Where can I find the Attendee List?
Registered attendees can access the Attendee List through the respective Service Centers.

AVOID SCAMS - There is a known scam afflicting trade shows and conferences where exhibitors are contacted by people fraudulently claiming to have and sell the show’s attendee list. The Self-Insurance Institute of America, Inc. (“SIIA”) does not rent, share, or sell our attendee lists or provide emails or physical address to any third parties.

Please beware, they often use SIIA’s trademarked name and logo in their email and signature. These companies have no association with SIIA or SIIA’s conferences. We apologize for any inconvenience that these spammers cause you.

Is there shuttle bus service for Attendees who are not staying at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge?
Shuttle bus service will be provided to/from the JW Marriott Desert Ridge, Cambria Hotel, Residence Inn at Mayo Clinic, and Holiday Inn Express & Suites Phoenix North-Scottsdale. The shuttle will run continuously, from 9/22/24 to 9/24/24, 7:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. Shuttles will pick up and drop off in front of the hotels every 20 - 25 minutes.

Hotel Accommodations

How do I make hotel reservations?
This year, four hotels make up the SIIA conference room block: JW Marriott Desert Ridge (Host Hotel), Cambria Hotel Phoenix - North Scottsdale, Holiday Inn Express & Suites Phoenix North-Scottsdale, and Residence Inn by Marriott Phoenix Desert View at Mayo Clinic. All hotel reservations must be made through the SIIA National Conference registration process. Please do not contact the hotels directly, as you will not receive the SIIA room rate.

How do I change an existing hotel reservation?
To make changes to an existing hotel reservation, please log into the Attendee Service Center using the login credentials that were provided in your registration confirmation. Once logged into the Service Center, select "Edit Existing Hotel Reservation," then proceed with your change(s). Please note: The JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort will NOT allow name changes (or cancel/replace of guests) within 21 days of arrival.

Golf Tournament

Is there a Golf Tournament?
The Self-Insurance Education Fund (SIEF) will host its annual fundraising Golf Tournament on Sunday, September 22^nd. Please visit the SIIA Conference Golf Page for additional information.
