How do we collect and store information from you?

SIIA uses tracking technology such as cookies or tags to gather information as outlined above (see: "What information do we collect from you and for what purpose?") to understand how visitors use the SIIA Website.

Tracking technology helps us manage and improve the usability of the SIIA Website, for example by detecting whether there has been any prior contact between your computer and us and to identify the most popular sections of the SIIA Website.

This website may use a technology called a "cookie.” A cookie is a small data file that a website can place on your computer’s hard drive, where your browser files are kept. A cookie saves you the trouble of reentering certain information in some registration areas because cookies can be used to enable a website to “remember” information a visitor has previously inputted. A cookie also helps deliver content specific information to you and track how areas of the website are used. With most browsers you can change your browser settings to remove cookies from your computer hard drive, block cookies, or receive a warning before a cookie is stored. Please check your browser instructions for more information about these functions. If you reject cookies, the functionality of the website may be limited, and you may not be able to take advantage of many of the website's features.

When you save your cookie settings, they should also apply to your future visits to the SIIA Website. However, for technical reasons beyond SIIA ’s control, this cannot be guaranteed. For example, if you reset your browser, delete your cookies, or access the SIIA Website from another browser or device, your cookie settings may be lost. To comply with applicable laws and regulations, you may be asked to confirm your cookie settings when you first visit the SIIA Website. If you are in a country where you are automatically required to set your cookie settings, you may be asked to set them again on a future visit.
